Service Agreement for Online Art Sessions
This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) sets out the terms and conditions for participation in online art sessions hosted by Belinda Latimer (“the Artist,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking or attending any session, you (“the Participant,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following:
1. Session Description
Our online art sessions are designed to provide creative guidance, inspiration, and instruction. Each session may include demonstrations, guided exercises, and opportunities to create your own work.
2. Participant Responsibilities
-
You are responsible for ensuring you have access to the required materials and equipment (e.g., paints, brushes, internet connection, printer if needed).
-
You agree to participate respectfully and ensure that your contributions (verbal, written, or visual) are appropriate for a group learning environment.
-
You understand that outcomes may vary — creativity is a personal process, and results are not guaranteed.
3. Payment & Refund Policy
-
Payment is required in full at the time of booking.
-
Refunds are not normally available once a session has begun, but may be issued at our discretion in the case of technical or other issues outside your control.
-
If you purchase a session that includes a credit towards a larger programme, details will be clearly provided at the time of booking.
4. Intellectual Property
-
All session content, including but not limited to teaching materials, recordings, and handouts, remains the intellectual property of the Artist.
-
You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use these materials for your own learning only.
-
You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell any content without prior written permission.
5. Technology & Access
-
Sessions are delivered online via platforms such as Zoom or Kajabi. You are responsible for ensuring your device and internet connection are suitable.
-
Recordings may be provided where advertised. Access to these is for your personal use only and must not be shared.
6. Health & Wellbeing
-
Art sessions are intended to support your creativity and wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or therapeutic support.
-
Please take care of your physical and emotional wellbeing during sessions (e.g., take breaks, avoid strain).
7. Limitation of Liability
-
While every effort is made to deliver high-quality, supportive sessions, the Artist accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damages arising from participation.
-
Your participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
8. Agreement
By booking or attending a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
